• Can I send my photo in the post?

Yes, if you are unable to send your photo electronically let us know on the order form and we will give you the address to send it to. Your photo will be returned to you with your order. If you decide not to continue with the order your photo will be returned when requested.

 

• Why is there only one price for a chart only order?

The price for a chart only order is £16.00 Photo-stitch will make the design any size you like at no extra cost. We put the same amount of care and time in to each design we produce regardless if its 5 inches or 20 inches, so the cost is the same.

 

• I live out side of the UK, can I still order from Photo-stitch?

Yes. Photo-stitch has already sent Kits and Charts to France, USA, India, South Africa, and Eastern Europe. There will be a charge for the extra cost in posting.

 

• Do I have to pay for a proof?

No. You only pay for your order once you are happy with the proof of your final design.

 

• How long before I see a proof of my design?

Photo-stitch aim to email a proof of your final design to you within 24hrs. You can choose to have the proof sent in the post in you prefer. Just let us know on your order form.

 

• How many different colours will be in my design?

Photo-stitch use around 30 - 40 different colours in each design. This will maximise the amount of detail in the design.

 

• What size will my design be?

The standard measurement for a cross stitch design will be a maximum of 12 inches (31cm), and Tapestries are 14 inches (36cm). But Photo-stitch can make the design any size you like, just let us know on your order form.

 

• How big will the fabric be?

The Aida or Canvas will be 3 inches around the stitched design, to allow for framing.

 

• Can Photo-stitch supply printed tapestry canvas?

At present Photo-stitch is unable to print your design on to the canvas. Designs are stitched following a chart as for counted cross stitch.

 

• Can Photo-stitch add wording to my design?

Yes. We can add names, titles or other text to your design. Just let us know what you would like on your order form.

 

• When do I pay for my order?

Once you are happy with the proof of your final design, then you can pay by Paypal, bank transfer or cheque.

 

• When will I get my order?

Once you have agreed your proof and payment has been received, your order will go in the post within 48hrs, by First Class Royal Mail.

 

• Will I have to sort out the treads?

Your cotton or wool will be pre-sorted and clearly labelled. Cotton is supplied on card organisers. Wool is supplied in clear bags.

 

• Will I have enough thread to complete my design?

Photo-stitch will supply you with enough thread or wool to complete your design. However, if you do run out - contact photo-stitch with the colour code and approximate length needed and we will put it in the post to you at no extra charge.
